November fog

november fog & a poem

It’s usually very sunny and pleasant weather here, but November and  early December are the weeks of Fog. Some years we don’t see the sun for weeks.

These kinds of days make me want to retract and retreat. They are strangely comfortable and mysterious.  I feel tired and like I want to withdraw in a safe dark and cozy space.

I came across this poem and felt like sharing it with you here ❤️

—————

The edge of the Solstice, the barren darkness, the wheel.

Nature knows that every cycle must return to stillness and silence.

That every inhale has an exhale.

That every ending births a new beginning.

That the light always returns to a future beyond imagination.
